Maya and the Park

One of many shots taken at recent jaunts to Nortons Park. I like this one because it has an interesting old feel to it. Reminds me of illustrations from the ’60s or ’70s. I’ll be adding more photos into a gallery on this same post, I think.

More Abbi

We had our friends over on ANZAC day and not only did they bring the most delicious Eggplant Parmigiana, but they also brought Abbi again!

Occasional Abbi

We had an adorable visitor last night. Just couldn’t resist grabbing a few shots.

Playing with the new Camerabag 2 on the iPad

Lots of new filters to play with! Also, more adjustment sliders. I’m liking it for the price of free.

BUSTER!!!

Sad to think he’s no longer in this world, throwing his considerable weight around. He was a lovely dog. Another photo found while looking for other things.

One of the things I love about Lightroom

is being able to have all my photos in one catalog. Which lets me rediscover my photos constantly. Plus, with the latest update, I’m able to tweak even more out of them than before!

Quilting and Craft Fair, Melbourne

Last Saturday, I made my way to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre (is it still called Jeff’s Shed?) for some crafting goodness. The quilt exhibition was impressive and while the majority of quilts were machine-quilted, the few hand-quilted entries were incredible. Not to mention the intricate hand-piecing as well. Some detail shots of the quilts here […]

Love Locks

On the bridge towards Notre Dame, crossing the Seine, locks of all varieties adorn the chain-link. Couples in love are performing this little ritual to display their love publicly. I’m not sure how seriously they take it, but there they are. Every month, someone comes and cuts most of them off. Some of them look […]

I thought this was funny

But apparently my sense of humour is skewed and somewhat lame. Nonetheless, I’m quite pleased with how this picture turned out, haha.

These feet were SORE.

Seriously, by the time our stint in Paris was over, I could barely move. My feet ached terribly, my knees were suffering, my skin was chafed where my bag hung on my hip, my shoulder was a constant sharp knot. Focusing on enjoying the trip was pretty much the only thing that got me out […]

Disneyland Paris: Autotopia

There was no Fast Pass for this ride, so we used our included “Magic Hours” from our hotel booking to get into this ride without too much time in the line. We still waited about 30 minutes. Tanya expressed doubt as to the actual fun-ness of the ride, but I insisted she would like it. […]
