I just can’t help myself. She is a lovely dog and I love her so.
For things that don’t like pigeon-holing.

0 CommentsLast Saturday, I made my way to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre (is it still called Jeff’s Shed?) for some crafting goodness. The quilt exhibition was impressive and while the majority of quilts were machine-quilted, the few hand-quilted entries were incredible. Not to mention the intricate hand-piecing as well. Some detail shots of the quilts here […]

0 CommentsOn the bridge towards Notre Dame, crossing the Seine, locks of all varieties adorn the chain-link. Couples in love are performing this little ritual to display their love publicly. I’m not sure how seriously they take it, but there they are. Every month, someone comes and cuts most of them off. Some of them look […]

0 CommentsBut apparently my sense of humour is skewed and somewhat lame. Nonetheless, I’m quite pleased with how this picture turned out, haha.

0 CommentsSeriously, by the time our stint in Paris was over, I could barely move. My feet ached terribly, my knees were suffering, my skin was chafed where my bag hung on my hip, my shoulder was a constant sharp knot. Focusing on enjoying the trip was pretty much the only thing that got me out […]

0 CommentsThere was no Fast Pass for this ride, so we used our included “Magic Hours” from our hotel booking to get into this ride without too much time in the line. We still waited about 30 minutes. Tanya expressed doubt as to the actual fun-ness of the ride, but I insisted she would like it. […]

0 CommentsThis roller-coaster is still fantastic. We went on it twice, despite having to wait an hour each time.

0 CommentsWe went to Disneyland Paris and rather than buy everything I thought was cute, I opted to photograph the items. Who can resist a pile of Stitches?

0 CommentsWe spent 5 days in Paris and 2 days at Disneyland Paris and by the end of that week, I was way beyond exhausted and hurting. I’m still sorting through the photos (over 2000, I think) and plan to post them one by one here. At least, the best ones. The picture above is of […]

0 CommentsA couple of friends and I drove up into the Dandenongs on Sunday to pick cherries. While it wasn’t a sunny day, it was not raining nor overly hot which really makes it perfect for an outing. Afterwards, we celebrated in style at Miss Marple’s, each getting a marvellously decadent dessert.

0 CommentsI received this card today. I should have expected it. Every year, this is the one holiday greeting I can depend on receiving. After all, rescuing a child from drowning seems to merit at least that. Still, it gives me an odd mix of feelings when I get this reminder of a mother’s gratefulness. There’s […]

0 CommentsA new WordPress theme! Maybe this will inspire me to post more often! The top photo was taken when Bec and I walked down to Karizma cafe for breakfast. We took a couple of photos of what we ate, too. I had eggs and Bec had the raisin toast.

0 CommentsOkay, I’m still learning how to use this new theme, so bear with me while these posts change. What I’m thinking, as I learn how this theme is designed, is that this will give me an opportunity to break down the large trips into smaller pictorials. I’m still not entirely sure how this will […]

I’ve been taking photos of this kid for a few months now, but this one is my favourite so far.
