A couple of friends and I drove up into the Dandenongs on Sunday to pick cherries. While it wasn’t a sunny day, it was not raining nor overly hot which really makes it perfect for an outing. Afterwards, we celebrated in style at Miss Marple’s, each getting a marvellously decadent dessert.

I received this card today. I should have expected it. Every year, this is the one holiday greeting I can depend on receiving. After all, rescuing a child from drowning seems to merit at least that. A new WordPress theme! Maybe this will inspire me to post more often! The top photo was taken when Bec and I walked down to Karizma cafe for breakfast. We took a couple of photos of what we ate, too. I had eggs and Bec had the raisin toast.  

This was my first time actually visiting the Shrine which is embarrassing considering I’ve lived in Melbourne for over 13 years now.
